Amanda J Cox is a healer of body, mind, and soul for over 30 years. She specializes in functional movement, restorative nutrition, bodywork, and somatic experiencing. Amanda has worked with thousands of people globally in promoting mindfulness, in depth trauma healing, and embodiment for self-care and wellbeing. Amanda’s work centers on healing holistically with a special focus on BIPOC and marginalized communities. She imbues her teachings with empathy, storytelling, experiential wisdom, applied knowledge, research, and humor.
Amanda is deeply committed to her practices, having studied experiential modalities, regulation and healing of the nervous system, yoga, mindfulness, EFT, healing and havening touch, and breathwork. She is fiercely proud of her Native American heritage and works with various tribes to help those recovering from addiction, trauma, and mental illness. Amanda is passionate about breaking the cycle of generational traumas and natural healing at the individual and community levels.
Amanda is inspired to ignite passion and excitement for life that connects us back to ourselves and each other. She evokes purpose in empowered self-awareness that brings freedom to our essential being in joy and peace.
